Seven Dreams Promoted to the MTN PLE

The Mankayane based outfit outclassed Hlatikhulu Tycoons 5-0 on the 29 May 2022 at the Mavuso Sports Centre to seal their promotion to the MTN PLE and Championship of the MTN NFD league for the 2021/22 season.

Seven Dreams  was led by coach Thobias Ntuli on their journey to the accomplishment of one of their dreams , the two time MTN NFD League Champion, first he won the championship with Vovovo FC in the 2019/2020 season and in the 2021/2022 he returned to Seven Dreams FC to guide them in to their first ever promotion to the elite league since they joined the National First Division league 5 seasons ago.

Seven Dreams were promoted alongside Madlenya FC from the Lubombo region, surprisingly both teams were the oldest clubs in the NFD and they gained promotion to the PLE the same season.

Seven Dreams will take E180, 000.00 to the PLE whilst the second placed Madlenya will pocket E80,000.00 and third placed Piggs Peak Black Swallows will get E50, 000.00.

As per the 2021/22 MTN NFD Rules and Regulations, the six teams at the bottom of the log table are relegated to their respective regional leagues, the teams are Msumpe Manchester FC , Rangers FC, Young Movers FC , Rail United FC, Mhlume Peacemakers FC and Umbelebele FC
