LEAGUE TAKES 2-MONTHS BREAK AMID THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC

Following the pronouncement by both the Eswatini Government and the Eswatini Football Association, the PLE Board of governors met at the Lobamba Technical Centre and agreed that Premier League takes a 2-months break from all its competitions as the coronavirus pandemic continues to be monitored.

All PLE competitions (leagues, knockouts, etc) will resume from the point where they were suspended and be implemented until their conclusion, with the current football season (2019/2020) extended accordingly.

The PLE wishes all its stakeholders to be safe from the global outbreak by practising all the laid down safety precautions by the healthy practitioners. Stakeholders are advised to wash their hands regularly and practise social distancing.

The Eswatini Government recently announced a  21 days Partial Lockdown throughout the country,  stakeholders  are guided to STAY HOME/WORK FROM HOME and only leave for essential purposes , also to follow the other  rules laid by the Eswatini Government concerning the lockdown. The quicker we work together to stop coronavirus spreading, the sooner we can get back into our beautiful sport.
