Double dose as ‘Birds’ take Wanderers in EL U-17 league

MBABANE –
The Esibayeni Lodge under 17 league title race is still wide open.
This is because atleast six teams can take up the top spot provided they win this weekend.
The teams contesting for top spot are Royal Leopard, Green Mamba, Moneni Pirates, Manzini Wanderers and Mbabane Swallows.
Week four action will be headlined by a clash between strong league contenders Manzini Wanderers and Mbabane Swallows.
According to a fixture which was released by Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Development Officer Banele Masondo yesterday, the must-watch encounter will be played at Somhlolo National Stadium on Sunday and kick-off time is 11am. The game will curtain-raise for the MTN League clash between capital city giants Mbabane Highlanders and Green Mamba which is set to kick-off at 1:30pm
The Swallows/Wanderers match is important to both teams. A win for either team will see them jump to the top that is if Green Mamba, Royal Leopard falter. The latter will clash horns with Denver Sundonws at Trade Fair Ground on Saturday and kick-off time is 9am.
Green Mamba also stand a chance leapfrog Leopard when they face off with Manzini Sea Birds at the same venue on Sunday and kick-off time is 10am.
Moneni Pirates who are also in the title race as they are third with seven points will be looking to beat Mbabane Highlanders. It will not be an easy affair as a win for Highlanders can see them on the second spot as they currently have five points.
