‘BIRDS’ OUT TO REDEEM THEMSELVES AT DOWNS EXPENSE

MBABANE – After the sorrowful exit in the Ingwenyama Cup, Mbabane Swallows has a chance to redeem themselves when they face Denver Sundowns on Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium.
Kick off is at 3:35pm.
The Swallows versus Sundowns will be the main match on Sunday – on the same day Mbabane Highlanders take on troubled Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows in the first match at 1:30pm.
The MTN league returns after a two-week break this weekend. The only other fixture on Sunday will see Mhlume Peacemakers play host to Tambuti FC at Tambankulu Stadium, at 3:30pm.
A double header is set for Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday where Moeni Pirates will take on relegation threatened Malanti Chiefs at 2pm before Manzini Wanderers face Green Mamba at 4:05pm.
In the other fixture, Manzini Sea Birds will play log leaders Young Buffaloes at Somhlolo National Stadium at 2pm with Milling Hotspurs taking on Royal Leopard in the main match at 4:05pm.
