Sifiso ‘Sushi’ Nkambule’s outstanding performances for Royal leopard in February have earned him the MTN Premier League Player of the Month award worth E6,000.00.

Nkambule played a pivotal figure to put Royal Leopards on top of the table with 45 points, 5 points clear above second placed Young Buffaloes.

When asked about his performance and winning the award, Nkambule said: “this award is just a bonus for me, together with my teammates we have set our eyes on winning the league and we taking each game as a cup final. Winning the league is important to us so we have to push ourselves to stay on top.

Meanwhile, MTN National First Division leading top goals scorer Allen Mabuza, with 14 goals, won the February best player award, taking home E2000.00.
