Asakhulile Amathole!!!
Young Buffaloes refused to settle for second consecutive silver as last year they were beaten by Mbabane Swallows in the finals of the 3rd Edition of the Ingwenyama Cup.
Mbabane Highlanders were outsmarted as they created only two chances the entire match, one that was missed by Mthombisi Mngomezulu who rifled a left shot over the cross bar from 20 yards out and the second one was the equalizing penalty that was converted by Thabiso Mokenkoane 16 minutes after Donda Mthethwa taped in a cross from Lindo Mkhonta to put Young Buffaloes ahead of game on the 18 minute of the first half.
The second half was a nightmare for Mbabane Highlanders as they played shapelessly with no transition and failed to block Young Buffaloes counter attacks which handed them three goals to make the final score line 4-1.
Mbabane Highlanders will take home half a million runners-up prize.
