Premier League Chairman Mark Carmichel has announced that Super Sport South Africa will be covering the whole event of the Ingwenyama Cup final grand closing ceremony which will be at Somhlolo national stadium on Saturday, he said this on a press brefing held at Sigwaca House today.

Carmachel said, “the PLS as a body stands and support Swazi football so we have asked Supersport to come and cover the whole final match of the Ingwenyama cup final on sunday”. Mbabane Swallows have contributed to the upbringing of the nations football dignity so they deserve the exposure so that even those in overseas countries like Asia could withness and see the talent on our football, Carmachel added. The idea behind the invitation of supersport is in courtesy of the late Chairman of the PLS Victor Maradona Gamedze.

Also Present at the press brefing were Royal Leopard PRO Frank Hurube who stated in bold that his side is up for revenge as Mbabane Swallows humiliated them on the inaugural of the tournament infront of royalty and Mbabane Swallows General Manager Sandile Zwane thanked the PLS for the exposure of inviting Supersport and that he can see that vision 2022 is coming alive.

“The invitation of Supersport is also meant for you (media houses) to see how the big guns manage to set up eleven cameras for their perfect broadcasts”, said Carmachel in response to a question asked by Times of Swaziland Sports Editor Lwazi Dlamini who asked why did they opt to invite the Supersport while we have the Swazi TV and the Channel S.
