The Eswatini Bank Cup is an annual knockout soccer tournament sponsored by the Eswatini Bank and is contested by 34 teams. The participating clubs are those of the PLE both premier league and National First Division League (26 clubs) and two from each of the four Regional Association (8 clubs) that’s a total of 34 clubs. It also features a Under 20 knockout tournaments and the Women’s Cup.
THE SMVAF Ingwenyama Cup is a knockout tournament sponsored by the Sincemphetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund to the tune of 12 million, spread into three (3) years. About 32 teams partake in this tournament, 26 teams from the PLE and eight (8) from the 4 Regional Associations. It also features the Culture Competition and the Regional Leagues tournament.
The Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation Charity Cup is an initiative by Eswatini Telecom that generates funds geared towards assisting those who are less privileged in all communities around the country. Funds that are put into the Charity Cup Trust are generated through the revenue generated from gate collections during the three days of soccer matches that are played during the tournament. The tournament is played by the traditional big three clubs which are Mbabane Swallows, Mbabane Highlanders and Manzini Wanderers, and one team that’s has qualified from the play-offs.
The Esibayeni Lodge U17 League and PLE U-20 League is a long-term plan which promotes the development of Swazi young players. Its aim is to deliver an environment that promotes excellence, nurtures talent and systematically converts this talent into professional players capable of playing first team football and building them for a winning Sihlangu national team. Both the PLE development leagues consist of the 14 team’s junior teams that are campaigning in the MTN Premier League. The Esibayeni Lodge U17 League is sponsored by Esibayeni Lodge to the tune of E200 000.00 and the PLE U20 League is sponsored by both the PLE and the Eswatini National Football Association.
